Audrey Emma Proffit is Finally Here!

Our new baby girl was born on July 23rd at 9:43am. Her name is Audrey Emma Proffit. She was 7lbs. 1oz. 19in. Max absolutely adores her! He is adjusting so well and loves to help mom with the new baby. He reminds me that I need to take care of her every time she cries and is sincerely worried about her well-being the second she makes a peep. So far he says "she looks like a Lizard" and licks his lips immitating her. Max has recieved a lot of attention lately with both grandmas eager to play with him. Labor and delivery was seriously the easiest ever!!! I love good epiderals and only hvaing to push twice! If every labor goes this well, I just might follow in my mother-in-laws footsteps...(10 kids). Just Kidding. Anyways, all is well, I'm looking forward to our Johnson Family Catalina vacation in a few weeks and visiting with my sister and brother-in-law next week. I LOVE having family close to help out. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

The Diamond X Ranch + Triathalon

Yes, at 36 weeks pregnant I drove with Josh and Max all the way up to Wyoming for a family reunion. I know I'm crazy since it was a 13 hour drive but honestly I'm glad I did it! Josh put together a Triathalon that was affiliated with the Diamond X Guest Ranch and did a great job. There were about 20 people involved in the triathalon but many others who watched want to sign up for next year! He had these really cool t-shirts made and sponsers and everything! GO JOSH! I helped him put the goodie bags and food together for the end of the race. What a rush! Also, we had some really cool family history experiences and even consequently decided on a name for this baby girl. All in all it was a great trip but I'm glad to finally be home. I should be having this baby any day now since I am 5 cm dialated and 80% effaced. We'll see...
