Our new baby girl was born on July 23rd at 9:43am. Her name is Audrey Emma Proffit. She was 7lbs. 1oz. 19in. Max absolutely adores her! He is adjusting so well and loves to help mom with the new baby. He reminds me that I need to take care of her every time she cries and is sincerely worried about her well-being the second she makes a peep. So far he says "she looks like a Lizard" and licks his lips immitating her. Max has recieved a lot of attention lately with both grandmas eager to play with him. Labor and delivery was seriously the easiest ever!!! I love good epiderals and only hvaing to push twice! If every labor goes this well, I just might follow in my mother-in-laws footsteps...(10 kids). Just Kidding. Anyways, all is well, I'm looking forward to our Johnson Family Catalina vacation in a few weeks and visiting with my sister and brother-in-law next week. I LOVE having family close to help out. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

surprisingly she is a great baby and I'm getting a good 4 hour stretch of sleeping at night before having to nurse.

She's perfect! That's wonderful that Max is adjusting so well and being so helpful for you. Sounds like a great delivery. We're so happy for you. We're glad she's finally here so you can hold her, love her, and dress her up!!
