Rileys Farm
The last week in Septemeber we decided to take a trip up to Riley's Farm in Upland with Grammy. We had so much fun! Max made Apple Cider which he got to take home and drink. He kept telling me he wanted the apple juice that "he made". The guy helping Josh and Max make the apple cider was quite interesting...he's the one with no teeth (and apparently he lives on the farm with his 7 children :)) Max also picked raspberries with Grammy and put them in a little basket until he started sampling them. "These are yummy" he says. After that Max and Daddy went apple picking. We picked a big bag of apples that we ate for the rest of the week. We had a yummy BBQ lunch while listening to a country band. Audrey was a trouper hangin out in Mom's snuggly all day. The only bummer was that Max touched a Stinging Metal plant when he went to touch the creek water :( He was brave though once we put ice on it. We also went to the Colonial Village, on a tractor ride, Max got his first cap gun and Josh and I ate delicious smoked cheddar cheese and summer sausage all the way home. What a fun filled day! It was a great way to kick off Fall time.
