O.K., I know I'm so totally lame by posting Thanksgiving stuff in December but my life has been consumed by Sing Noel for the past month. Now that it's over I can start catching up on all the things I've been neglecting--such as my blog :) Here goes:
Josh and I drove up to the beach house on Wednesday night. Mima had just gotten out of the hospital since she had a pace maker put in on Monday. My mom and aunts were so busy taking care of Mima that they just wanted to order something for Thanksgiving! Josh (having expierenced eating a turkey loaf with my family for Thanksgiving in the past) said NO WAY! So we stepped up and decided to make the whole Thanksgiving meal for 15 people. We had a bunch of fun too. Luckily my mom rented out a beach house a few doors down from Mima so we could use 2 kitchens--and give Mima some space to rest. We made home-made mashed potatoes, a candied yam suffle, fresh green bean casserole, rolls, and Josh was in charge of the turkey and gravy. It was DELICIOUS. It sounds like we will be in charge of Thanksgiving dinner from now on.
The next day, Ryan and Elise--and Nikki of course came up to the beachhouse to play with us. We had fun playing Settlers of Catan (I won by the way) and just hung outby the beach most of the time. And yes, the weather was amazing! Anyway, enjoy the pics.

Looks like we are blogging together! Glad to see some new pics!! Remember the days when Thanksgiving was in that little old motel room at SAMS? I was having flash backs of that looking at all these pictures with your family in them.
Good memories! Thanksgiving is generally my least favorite holiday of the year but I do have to say this one was pretty good! I very much wish that we could have the beautiful Thanksgiving weather from a few weeks ago in ventura here in OC right now....
