We went to Silverwood lake with our friends the Mcdavitt's and the Thomas's over Labor Day weekend and had a blast. We actually went camping the night before and had the perfect camping spot over looking the lake. We brought the Sea doo and the McDavitt's brought their new boat. It felt so wierd being the adults and taking our families to the lake!--thanks to our parents giving us the toys, we can. Anyways, Josh and I tried wake boarding and water skiing. I feel so lame that neither one of us got up!!! I used to be so good too. I guess we will just have to come out again and practice more often :-) Josh did get rocked in the tube behind the boat by Adam. I wish I had my camera for those shots. Meg and I went on the sea doo and tried to get up the guts to do 360's. The kids loved throwing rocks into the lake and playing on the tube. Too bad the sea doo battery died at the very end of the day---thank heaven's Adam was able to tow us in. Afterward we went back to the McDavitt's with the Thomas gang for pizza. It's nice that they only live an hour away from the lake. We are so lucky to have such great friends.
