O.k., so many great things happened in September with the Fam that I don't want to forget about so here goes. Max lost his first tooth! He was wiggling it all the time, and it was so gross just haning there so it finally popped out...at 2am in the morning. He came into our room and said that it fell out. We told him to go back to bed and that the tooth fairy would come the next night. About an hour later Max came in again to tell us that he dropped his tooth in the book box and that he couldn't find it. We told him to go back to bed and that he could find it in the morning. About 20 minutes later he came in a 3rd time to tell us that he found his tooth in the book box. At this point it was about 4am in the morning. Max wanted to keep his tooth and was adament that the tooth fairy knew this too. So he wrote her a note explaining that he would still like money but wanted to keep his tooth. We put the tooth and the note in an envelope under his pillow that night. Then at 2am he woke up to tell Josh and I that the tooth fairy left his tooth and gave him a whole dollar! We said, "that's great Max, now please go back to bed!". He was so excited and we were so tired. Later that day he told his aunt Shannon that the tooth fairy left him a dollar and that he bought a slurpee at Target with the dollar. Aunt shannon said, "Wow, a whole dollar?" "When I was your age the tooth fairy only left me quarter". Max responded, "Really, that's it?" I told Max that the tooth fairy knows about inflation.
