My Sweet Boy

So, yesterday I caught Max being very sweet. When he came home school we did our homework together at the kitchen table. Audrey was napping so it was the perfect time to complete my thoughts. I've been taking a parenting class on Thursday nights and the teacher gives us homework to do throughout the week. It's a great class and I'm definitely learning a lot and hopefully becoming a better parent. Anyways, Audrey started whining in her crib so Max said, "Don't worry mom, you can finish your work and I will get her out of the crib." He got her out no problem and then said, "Wait Audrey, Your hair clips fell out while you were sleeping, let me put them back in!" So he asked her to hold still, which she did willingly and he put them back in. It was one of the sweetest moments ever. So later that night after our parenting class (Max goes with me) Max and I had a chance to talk in the car alone. I asked him if he knew of anything that he had done that day to make me happy? He said yes that he helped me with Audrey after her nap. I said that was right! He then said, "Well mom, when I help you out that gives you more time to do what you need to do because you are always so busy working hard." Melt my heart!!! It is moments like this that I need to remember so that's why I blogged about it. Thank you Max for being such a great helpful boy and being so aware of mommy's needs yesterday. I love you so much!
